I haven’t produced a gritty urban mono for a while so this is long overdue. Taken with the Samyang 12mm lens (@ f11) which is one of my favourite pieces of kit.

I am a beginner with a Sony a6000. I just bought the Samyang 12mm ultrawide and was reading about filters (all new to me!) when I came across your post of June 5, 2018. Gorgeous photos! I’d love to be able to make pictures like those! Wow! My test shots off our patio this evening (no tripod, no filter) were underwhelming, but your post makes me think I may be able to do something interesting with this lens! It was an impulse purchase—I only have the kit lenses 16-50 and 55-210. I did just by a Tokina 100mm macro. Lots to learn! Thanks. Diane F.
